Fanari and the greater area has been under great tourist growth during the last decade. As a result there is a full presence of the basic tourist infrastructures to support the area visitors.

You can arrange your stay in Fanari at any of the area hotels, appartments, bungalows or the camping  of Greek National Tourist Organisation. You can find super markets and small shops for your basic needs at the village and on the road to Arogi Beach.
The area is famous for its' fresh fish. You can taste it in a meal of the local Thracian kitchen at any of Fanari fish-taverns. If you prefer much cheaper fast food you will find many snack bars and pizzas near the port.
Fanari becomes the heart of the summer nightlife in Rhodopi. You can have a drink in any of the cafe bars at the village or the beach bars of Arogi. The atmosphere may be cosy and relaxed on weekdays and much more intense and entertaining on weekends or special events.
